Presidential candidate Norbert Mao has said that he is the perfect person to lead this nation.

While Campaigning in Nwoya District on Monday, Mao said due to the current political chaos in the country, Ugandans need a political Party with clean hands to move the country forward and a leader who sends messages of hope rather than fear.

“You need a leader who sees far, you need a leader that comes from a party that has no blood on its hands. DP is a party which has no blood on its hands, I am a leader that has no blood on my hands and I discourage violence wherever I go, I preach peace. Uganda needs a leader who has empathy,” Mao said.

Mao believes President Museveni is greedy for power and a danger to the country.

“We need a leader who is not greedy for power. A leader who is greedy for power like Museveni who wants to rule until he dies is a danger to the future. He cannot secure it,” he added.
