The president of the Uganda Musicians Association (UMA), Cindy Sanyu, has confirmed that she took a music break.

Over the weekend, Cindy announced how she had left the stage.

“So this was my last performance before getting into maternity leave. I was about six months pregnant and I took so many risks but God gave me the strength,” she captioned the video on her official social media pages.

Cindy confirmed that she traveled to Nairobi because she was about to give birth when she appeared on NRG Radio on Monday.

“A few months left to pop and I am enjoying every moment and Nairobi is really very nice,” she said.

Just one year after giving birth, Cindy announced at the beginning of this month that she and her husband Prynce Joel Atiku Okuyo are expecting their second child.

“I have tried to hide the pregnancy, but the baby bump shows at some point. I tried to hide it because pregnancy is not a public thing to announce,” said Cindy.

But because Cindy had her first child with her ex-boyfriend Mario Brunette before their breakup, this will be her third child.
