Woman arrested for forcing stepson to eat his own faeces

Police in Jinja have arrested a one a 26-year-old housewife, Nabirye Esther, a resident of Mafubira Zone C, Jinja City, for forcing her 4-year-old stepson, Gansanga Abudallah, to eat his own faeces.

The arrest was made after the shocking incident, which was captured on camera by a vigilant neighbour who immediately alerted the authorities.

Nabirye, who is the wife of Mugabi Sulait, a mechanic, was arrested by the police and detained at Jinja Central Police Station. She reportedly confessed to her actions.

The police spokesperson, Fred Enanga, described the act as barbaric and inhumane, stating that Nabirye will be charged with child torture and abuse.

The child was taken into protective custody and is currently receiving medical attention.

The police have launched further investigation into the matter, and Nabirye is expected to appear in court soon to face the charges.

The incident has left many in shock, with many expressing outrage and disgust at the inhumane act.
