Ugandan athletes who participated in the 2024 Paris Olympics, led by Olympic champion Joshua Cheptegei, Peruth Chemutai, Victor Kiplangat, Mercyline Chelangat, Stella Chesang, and Kiprotich Martine Magengo, have surprised their coach, Benjamin Njia, with a new car.

The athletes, all members of the Police Athletics Club, say that the coach deserved the gift as he has been very pivotal in their running careers.

They presented the car on Sunday in front of a jubilant congregation at Shining Light Church in Kapchorwa.
