Singer Dax Vibez, the younger brother of opposition leader Bobi Wine, has announced the cancellation of his much-anticipated concert that was scheduled for August 29, 2025, at Hotel Africana in Kampala.

The artist shared the disappointing news on his social media platforms Saturday evening, expressing frustration over the sudden decision by the hotel’s management to call off the event.

According to Dax Vibez, preparations for the show had been in motion for the past nine months, with significant investment made in advertising and promotions. “I’ve spent months and resources promoting this concert, only for it to be cancelled without clear explanation,” he lamented.

This isn’t the first time a concert has faced last-minute cancellation at Hotel Africana. In February this year, singer Alien Skin also had his event scrapped under similar unclear circumstances.

Fans and followers of Dax Vibez have since taken to social media to express solidarity, with many demanding more transparency from event venue.
