Speke Resort Convention Centre took centre stage at the 19th edition of Meetings Africa 2025, Africa’s premier Business Events Trade Show, held at the Sandton Convention Centre in Johannesburg, South Africa this week. The event, which brings together industry leaders, global buyers, and key stakeholders from across the continent, provided an invaluable platform for Uganda to showcase its growing stature as a top Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions (MICE) destination.

As the 19th edition of Meetings Africa unfolded under the theme “Africa’s Success Built on Quality Connections,” Speke Resort Convention Centre’s participation highlighted Uganda’s commitment to expanding its presence in the global MICE industry. Located on the serene shores of Lake Victoria, it is East Africa’s largest conference facility, and the flagship venue for international business events.

“We are thrilled to be part of Meetings Africa 2025, the continent’s largest gathering of business event professionals. The event serves as a vital platform for fostering connections and contributing to the economic growth of Africa,” said a representative from Speke Resort. “Our Convention Centre is a state-of-the-art venue capable of hosting high-profile international conferences and events, and we’re proud to showcase it at this prestigious trade show.”
