The Living Group (TLG), a leading real estate developer in Uganda, has officially launched The Vista Naguru, a modern residential complex comprising 31 upscale apartments in the serene suburb of Naguru, Kampala.

Situated on Nambi Road, the development spans 0.23 acres and features a mix of two, three, four, and five-bedroom units designed to meet the growing demand for affordable yet high-quality housing in the city.

Speaking at the launch, Sheena Ruparelia, a director at TLG, described the project as a perfect blend of affordability and luxury, tailored for Uganda’s emerging middle and upper-income earners.

“Our goal is to deliver top-quality homes at accessible prices. With land becoming increasingly scarce in Uganda, apartments like these offer a sustainable solution to the housing crisis,” Sheena said.

Uganda is currently grappling with a housing deficit of over 2.4 million units—a challenge driven by rapid urbanisation and population growth. As a result, many Ugandans continue to live in informal or inadequate housing.

Sheena said that apartment living is the future:

“In the past, people preferred standalone homes, but that trend is shifting. We’re now offering apartment communities that include shared amenities such as swimming pools, bar areas, restaurants, walking and bicycle tracks—spaces that promote both recreation and social connection.”

She added that the strategic location of Naguru allows for shorter commutes to work, which is a key factor for many when choosing where to live.

“By building in prime areas like Naguru, we ensure affordability without compromising on convenience or quality,” she noted.

Ray Sakaria, Managing Director of TLG, said, “As people advance in their careers and earn more, they often shift from spending on luxuries like cars to securing stable investments like homes. Having a roof over your head is essential.”

He also pointed out that while many apartments are available on the market, few retain their long-term value.

“We’ve made sure that all our units at Vista Naguru maintain their worth—whether owned or rented, they offer good returns. Beyond just homes, we’re providing safe, family-friendly environments,” he explained.

The Vista Naguru apartments are priced between Shs300 million and Shs600 million, depending on the purchase stage.

Buyers also benefit from a 12-month warranty on all new homes and access to TLG’s dedicated customer service team.
