Foton Motors, a global leader in automotive manufacturing, is set to expand its footprint in Uganda with the launch of a brand-new range of vehicles. The unveiling is scheduled for August 28, 2025, at the company’s showroom in Namanve.

The launch will showcase seven distinct brands—Aumark, Tunland, Miler, View CS2, Truck Mate, Aumna R, and Auman C. Together, these models bring a blend of affordability, advanced engineering, and robust performance, all tailored to meet the demands of Uganda’s diverse road network.

From heavy-duty trucks to sleek pickups and versatile minibuses, the collection aims to strike a balance between durability and modern design.

Foton’s new offering will introduce more than 50 units, including duty trucks, pickups, mini trucks, minibuses, and cargo vans. By investing in this wide product range, the company is not only strengthening its presence in Uganda but also signalling a commitment to supporting the growth of the country’s transport and automotive sectors with reliable, future-ready solutions.

The high-profile event will be graced by Honourable Katumba Wamala, Minister of Transport, and Mr. Robert Mukiza, Director-General of the Uganda Investment Authority.

Their attendance underlines the strategic importance of the launch, positioning it as more than just a corporate milestone—it is a boost to Uganda’s economy, job creation, and infrastructure development.
