The much-anticipated expansion and extension works at Kabira Country Club in Bukoto are now in full swing, with recent photos from the site showcasing remarkable progress.

Vcon Construction Uganda Limited, owned by tycoon Sudhir Ruparelia—the facility’s proprietor—is spearheading the upgrade, which is expected to be completed very soon.

The expanded facility will feature a shopping mall, 350 fully furnished apartments, and a 110-square-metre luxury hotel.

Already classified as a four-star facility by the Uganda Tourism Board in November 2023, Kabira Country Club is poised to reach five-star status upon completion of the expansion.

Once finished, the upgraded club is set to become a premier recreational and lifestyle destination in Kampala.

Currently, Kabira Country Club is a go-to spot for accommodation, wellness, and fine dining. It boasts a holistic health club experience with a half Olympic-sized swimming pool, a kids’ pool, a gym, as well as tennis, basketball, and squash courts. Guests also enjoy a multi-cuisine restaurant renowned for its Mongolian dinner, a well-stocked bar—The Pub—and Bake-O-Logy, the in-house bakery offering freshly baked pastries.

The facility recently unveiled a heated kids’ pool and play castle, underscoring its commitment to delivering a top-tier, family-friendly experience.

With the ongoing expansion, Kabira Country Club is fast evolving into a true recreational marvel.
