Africa’s leading strategy professionals, policymakers, and business leaders will gather in Kampala this October for the IASP Africa Regional Conference 2025. The two-day event, hosted by the International Association for Strategy Professionals (IASP) in partnership with its Uganda and Nigeria Chapters, will take place at the Imperial Royale Hotel on October 30–31, 2025.

The conference, themed “Shaping Africa’s Future Through Strategies for Inclusive Growth, Digital Transformation, and Sustainable Development,” will examine critical challenges that influence Africa’s growth and development. It will provide a platform for strategic dialogue and practical approaches to navigating these issues with excellence. Participants will explore strategies to drive economic resilience, create opportunities for Africa’s growing youth population, and harness the power of digital transformation and sustainability to drive long-term growth in order to create the Africa we want.

Innocent M. Agaba, President of the IASP Uganda Chapter, emphasized the importance of the event, noting that Africa is undergoing significant transitions in its economic, social, and technological landscapes, which require deliberate and collaborative strategic approaches to ensure sustainable growth. “Africa has the talent, ambition, and ideas to lead in innovation and growth. What we need now are deliberate innovative strategies and partnerships to turn potential into measurable impact. The time is ripe to explore cutting edge strategies that can accelerate progress towards the African Union’s Agenda 2063 and enhance regional economic integration. This conference is where those strategies will take shape,” he said.

By aligning our efforts, we can unlock Africa’s full potential and position the continent as a global leader in innovation and sustainable development,” he said.

The conference will feature keynote speeches from global and regional leaders in strategy and innovation, alongside panel discussions and workshops designed to provide participants with practical tools and insights. Attendees will also have the opportunity to network with peers, sponsors, and exhibitors, promoting collaboration and partnerships across sectors and regions.

Registration for the event is now open, with sponsorship opportunities also available.
