In Kampala’s fast-evolving corporate landscape, the benchmark for the modern workspace has just shifted. TotalEnergies Uganda has unveiled T-Hive—a unified, innovation-driven headquarters occupying several levels of property magnate Sudhir Ruparelia’s RR Tower One—bringing to life the developer’s vision of a next-generation workspace that blends aesthetics, productivity, sustainability, and employee well-being.

The oil and gas company will move into the premises on September 15, consolidating three major TotalEnergies entities—TotalEnergies Marketing Uganda Limited, TotalEnergies EP Uganda, and the East African Crude Oil Pipeline (EACOP)—into one integrated hub at Pearl Business Park on Yusuf Lule Road. The 25-storey Grade A tower, situated opposite the National Land Information Centre, now hosts one of the country’s most advanced corporate environments.

Crafted around the company’s “One TotalEnergies, One Country” philosophy, T-Hive is designed to enhance collaboration while simplifying operations that were previously spread across multiple locations. The name itself emerged from staff contributions, symbolizing a workplace shaped by its people.

“Hello and welcome to T-Hive, our vibrant new home at Pearl Business Park Tower One,” TotalEnergies Uganda said in a statement. “This building brings three of our entities together, all under one roof. The name T-Hive was born out of staff creativity, a reminder that this space belongs to all of us.”

The workspace integrates a wide suite of modern amenities—from flexible workstations and bubble rooms for confidential meetings to coffee lounges that encourage spontaneous collaboration. Over 400 parking slots, electric vehicle charging stations, and a Bonjour convenience shop on the ground floor for quick snacks and grocery shopping add to daily convenience, while accessibility features such as wheelchair-friendly washrooms, a mothers’ room, charging stations for electric venhicles and waste-segregation systems reflect a commitment to inclusivity and sustainability.

Security is streamlined through chipped access badges and discreetly-placed cameras in shared zones. A shared medical clinic on the ground floor adds another layer of employee support.

Each floor is tailored to specific functions, with TotalEnergies Marketing Uganda on the first floor, TotalEnergies EP Uganda’s reception, HR, contracts, procurement, logistics, and field operations on the second floor and Finance, IT, project management, plus a panoramic cafeteria and kitchen on the third floor.

Upper levels serve specialist departments—drilling, HSE, social performance, business development, corporate affairs, legal, geoscience, and EACOP operations. A refined coffee bar and mini-lounge elevate visitor and team interactions.

This consolidation strengthens TotalEnergies Uganda’s long-term strategy to integrate its downstream, upstream, and pipeline development operations, signaling confidence in Kampala’s commercial property sector. For the real estate industry, RR Tower One stands as a testament to Sudhir Ruparelia’s vision for world-class corporate infrastructure.
