Property tycoon Sudhir Ruparelia has revealed plans for the second phase of his iconic Kingdom Kampala development, introducing a 21-storey tower complete with a rare rooftop helipad.
Located in the heart of Kampala’s Central Business District, the new high-rise will feature modern glass facades, landscaped terraces, and premium amenities tailored for executives and international business travellers. The rooftop helipad is one of the few in Uganda’s private sector, designed to facilitate swift access for high-profile visitors.

Kingdom Kampala has been a landmark mixed-use complex since the opening of Phase 1 in 2019, which currently houses a shopping mall, offices, and parking facilities. Phase 2 is being envisioned as a “vertical city,” incorporating a luxury hotel with around 200 rooms, upscale apartments, penthouses, and additional corporate offices.
Real estate experts say the project signals strong confidence in Kampala’s growth. “This tower marks Kampala’s rise as a modern African metropolis,” said a local analyst. “Amenities like the helipad cater to high-value sectors, from energy investors to tech entrepreneurs.”
The development adds to a series of high-profile projects by the Ruparelia Group, including the 25-storey Pearl Tower One. It is expected to generate construction jobs and attract foreign investment, supporting Uganda’s steady economic growth of 5–6% annually.
The project also adds to the Ruparelia Group’s expanding portfolio of flagship developments, including Paradise Island Resort on Lake Victoria, the Kabira Country Club expansion, Speke Resort Convention Centre, Kingdom Hotel, and Ssese Beach Resort.
