Socialite Zari Hassan and her Tanzanian lover, Diamond Platnumz are painting Dar es Salaam white this evening, with the Zari All White Party. The event will be held at Mlimani City Conference Centre, the biggest and most exclusive indoor venue in the coastal town.
Zari who holds the annual All White Party Guvnor every December decided to export the idea to her new man’s hometown. Tanzanians are fascinated about the Zari-Diamond affair and they are excited about the All White Party, the first of its kind in their city. But those who are interested in purchasing VIP tickets will have to dig deep into their pockets. VVIP tickets cost $1700 (about Ug Shs5.1m) and the VIP tickets cost $1,000 (Ug Shs3m).
Corporate entities including Vodafone, Huawei and Coca Cola have jumped onto the event.
Diamond Platnumz, rapper AKA from South Africa and Kenyan comedian Eric Omondi will perform at the highly anticipated event.
