mk7Wait a minute, it is not Sheila Gashumba the NTV presenter. Grace Gashumba a 22-yea-old second year student of Social Works and Social Administration at Ndejje University’s Kampala campus was crowned Miss Kampala Royale on Friday night at the Kampala Serena Hotel.

And this Gashumba is not a daughter to Sheila’s dad, the mortar mouthed Frank Gashumba. But like all Gashumba’s she is not short of drama as she “fainted” when she was announced winner of the pageant. As some of the organisers rushed to give her CPR (kiss of life), she regained her consciousness and flashed a killer smile.

The pageant was organised to crown a beauty ambassador for Kampala City. Gashumba won Shs3m in cash, a Toyota Spacio and an all-expense paid trip to New Delhi, India. She will also be the face of Glow Cosmetics.

Priscilla Kalisa was crowned second runner-up while Victoria Nakiwu took the first runner-up crown.
