Kenyan Hollywood star Lupita Nyongó has revealed that meeting Ugandan comedienne Anne Kansiime was one of her top 10 moments of 2015.
She made the confession on social media, revealing that Kansiime has kept her laughing with her comedy show – Don’t Mess With Kansiime.
“What a year! Ten memorable moments to reflect on: I met Anne Kansiime, a woman that has kept me laughing all year long with her antics on Don’t Mess With Kansiime. What heart, what spirit!”
Lupita who won as Oscar last year for her role in the movie Ten Years A Slave met Kansiime in April this year during the shooting of the Queen of Katwe movie where Lupita stars as the mother of chess prodigy Phiona Mutesi.
Lupita is now revelling in the success of Star Wars:The Force Awakens movie that was released last week, grossing $517m in its first week of release.
