Of late, Ugandan comedians seem to be having more emotions than jokes. They easily throw tantrums like children who feel entitled to eating the biggest candy! The latest in this is the man from Omboloko Salvado aka Patrick Idringi. The funny man has revealed that he does not like owl-eyed comedian turned politician Hon. Kato Lubwama.
He revealed his dislike for the comedian as he defended Anne Kansiime who of late has been fighting battles with critics hitting at her that she has run out of jokes.
“Sometimes not all opinions should be made public.. I don’t like Kato Lubwama.. but this is the first time you’re hearing or reading about it .. why.. coz I had kept it to myself .. coz it won’t affect or change who he is or what the People who love him think about him.. DO WHAT WORKS FOR YOU… NOT EVERYONE WILL LIKE IT BUT DO IT COZ IT WORKS FOR YOU ……. PEACE”, his post read in part.
Kato Lubwama has been in the limelight way before Idringi hanged his yellow MTN t-shirts and became a comedian. The Rubaga South MP has lived off theatre, endorsements and has influenced slangs in popular street speak notably, “Beera mu class”, off an advert. He has also served as CBS FM presenter. When he beat Ken Lukyamuzi to the Rubaga South seat, many expected a cantankerous legislator but he has since come off as one greedy maniac. Possibly, we could hear more from Salvado about his dislike for Kato Lubwama.
