Ivan Ssemwanga to be laid to rest today at ancestral home in Kayunga

Fallen businessman, spendthrift and socialite, Ivan Ssemwanga will be laid to rest today.

The socialite who died a few weeks shy of his 40th birthday will be put to his final resting place at his ancestral home in Kayunga.

The burial has already attracted hundreds of mourners including top local artistes and city businessmen as they bid farewell to their former colleague in his final send off.

Ssemwanga passed away in South Africa on Thursday last week after suffering a stroke that left him in a coma for days. He is survived by three sons.
