After the burial of Rich Gang leader Ivan Ssemwanga aka Don Ivan in Kayunga, part of the hullabaloo was a possible break into the self-styled tycoon’s final resting grounds to steal the cash that was splashed in his grave by his fellow Rich Gang group.

Word has it that area police also advised family and friends about the possibility of a break-in into Ivan’s grave.

Well, we have it on good authority that the family and friends heeded to the Police’s call. Ivan’s uncle and guardian- Mr Luyinda, together with other family members and close Rich Gang members sat in a meeting with the police and resolved to have police personnel guard Ivan’s tomb and the home where he was buried for seven days.

According to a source, the plan is to ensure that the concrete used to build Ivan’s grave would have dried and not easy to break into by thugs. However, the source revealed that, even after the seven days, there will be security that will guard the home ‘till further notice’.
