We have been reliably informed that a family meeting was held in Muyenga on Saturday evening with the presence of Kwagalana Group chairman Geoffrey Kirumira and Joseph Bbosa over the fate of the property of the late Ivan Ssemwanga.
Zari Hassan, Ritah Ssemwanga (sister), Lawrence Muyanja a.k.a. King Lawrence) and George Ssemwanga Pinto (elder brother) were placed in charge until Ssemwanga’s three children turn 18.
Zari was tasked with supervising the smooth running of Ssemwanga’s schools that include Brooklyn College in South Africa. The committee also decided that Zari should live in one of Ivan’s two houses that houses the children in Sandton and Pretoria and the other rented out for income generation.
