Guests at the Young Achievers Awards 2018 were given a special treat by Wendy, the breakout artiste signed to UG Records who did a tribute to the slain GoodLyfe vocalist, songwriter, and maestro.

With her powerful voice, mastery of art and stage performance, Wendy walked the guests down the memory lane with the music that made the GoodLyfe a music powerhouse in Uganda.

In an interview with Matooke Republic, Wendy said she has music of her own that is set to be released soon.

In her, the legacy of Radio lives on and a new dawn in Uganda’s music industry is on the horizon.

The Young Achievers Awards were organized by Reach A Hand Uganda in partnership with Johnnie Walker, Kwese Sports, NBS TV among other brands to celebrate, recognise and reward outstanding young people doing great work to solve community challenges.
