I thank Radio’s friends for taking care of me; life wouldn’t have been easy without their support ­– Radio’s mom

Last weekend, the country celebrated the birthday of now fallen hero, Moses Radio. The celebrations carried on into the new week as various media stations continued playing the legend’s music.

Radio’s mom was interviewed by a local media house and she was in a somber mood as she reflected on the life and times of her now fallen son. She thanked Radio’s friends for taking care of her, notably Spice Diana and the B2C for making their contribution towards her wellbeing.

She was asked to make a comment on Troy Wamala, the now convicted club bouncer who was charged with murdering the singer and she got emotional. She said that it was unfair for her son to be murdered while the murderer gets only 12 years in prison.

By the time of Radio’s passing, he had accumulated a number of properties and when asked about who is in charge of taking care of them, she said that the properties are currently under government control and she doesn’t know what plans the government has for them.

To celebrate the life of Radio, a special service is being organized at her home and she has asked Radio’s fan to extend a helping hand to see to it that the service is a success.

When asked about her last moments with her son, she said that medics didn’t really allow her get close to him in fear of infections. She recalled him not moving, shaking or even uttering a word. She said that he could have passed on before reaching the hospital.
