The number of coronavirus cases in Uganda keeps growing and it is now standing at 14 after the Health Ministry confirmed five more today that include an eight-month old baby.

In situations like this, sensitization on how to prevent the spread of this deadly virus is much more needed, and musicians have decided to join the Ministry of Health in doing that through music.

Big Size Bebe Cool, ‘African bwoy bwoy’ John Blaq, Swangz Avenue’s Vinka and Azawi, Fresh Kid and the Daddy, and A Pass among others have taken it to the studio to record a song that raises awareness about Coronavirus, and what to do to prevent it.

Kyadondo East MP Robert Kyagulanyi put on his Bobi Wine hat and hit the studio with longtime collaborator Nubian Li to record their own version tackling the same topic.

Over the years, music has been used to convey a message to government and the population, but this is for a good cause. We hope the message reaches where it has not reached yet.
