Amapiano is popular in South Africa, but it has gone beyond borders. On the TikTok social media platform, the #amapiano hashtag stands at more than 570 million views and shares of global streams on the AmaPianoGrooves playlist on Spotify have increased 116% globally over the past year.

It’s on such grounds that rapper Daniel Kigozi alias Navio has decided to jump on the trend with his new song Raha.

The song is off his new album titled Vibes out the East. Earlier on, Navio released one song titled Rah, featuring singer and songwriter Sheena Skies. As we end the year, he has again released another titled Raha.

Raha is one of those styles we have not seen Navio do although he has moved a bit from his hip-hop to try out new music like his bax ragga when he did Nawuliranga, he has done RnB among other genres of music.

Raha is the style he tried for the first time. The song has already started receiving airplay on TV and Radio stations country-wide. It also is doing good on all online music platforms both locally and internationally.

Amapiano is the new vibe from South African, trending now.

In Uganda, the B2C group was the first to jump on it. The sensational singing trio collaborated with MC Africa of Tupaate fame in a massive jam titled It’s Okay.

In Raha, Navio not only raps but tries a bit of singing which makes the song one of those songs that makes one get off their feet to dance.

Raha was produced by Daxochali and the video was shot by our own celebrated and award-winning Sasha Vybz.
