“Hey my lovelies, I need your vote and your support. Just a few days to the start of Mrs.World competition. I’m the 3rd person from Uganda to ever represent at this world stage so I need your support. Together we can bring this home to the Pearl of Africa,” she posted.

This year’s Mrs. World theme is celebrating the uniqueness of married women and is set to run from January 9 to the D-day on January 15th.

Namutebi is the Miss Uganda Project coordinator and a member of the Miss Uganda Foundation Academy of Queens. The philanthropic beauty queen runs Smile with Sly, an organisation under Talent Africa that empowers and supports single mothers and mothers in marginalized communities in Uganda. She is also the Special Events Director at Talent Africa Group.

Namutebi is the third Ugandan to represent the country at Mrs. World. In 2009, celebrated musician Halima Namakula was voted Mrs Uganda and in 2011, media personality Crystal Newman was crowned Mrs. Uganda.
