“My music career was born here,” Nigerian singer Joeboy promises high-energy performance at Lugogo Hockey grounds

Nigerian Afro-pop sensation Joeboy is set to thrill Ugandan fans at the Lavida Rave Summer event today, Saturday, July 27, 2024, at Lugogo Hockey grounds.

The highly anticipated concert promises to be an unforgettable experience, with Joeboy performing his popular hits, including ‘Sip (Alcohol)’, ‘Focus’, ‘Low Key’, and ‘Body and Soul’.

Speaking ahead of the event, Joeboy expressed his excitement to return to Uganda, a country that has played a significant role in shaping his musical career.

“Uganda is indeed part of the foundation to my musical career,” he said, recalling his first performance in the country in 2019 with only two songs to his name.

The ‘Young Legend’ label boss is expected to deliver a high-energy performance, treating fans to his magical tracks inspired by his personal experiences, conversations, and travel adventures. With a new project with Fik Fameica in the works, Joeboy is sure to bring the house down with his unique blend of Afro-pop and contemporary R&B.

The Lavida Rave Summer Experience promises to be an immersive event, featuring music, art, fashion, and entertainment. With epic DJ battles, singing competitions, fashion shows, and gaming zones, attendees are in for a treat.
