Speke Resort Munyonyo lines up a masquerade and soul affair for New Year’s Eve

The clock is ticking on 2024 and Speke Resort Munyonyo, Uganda’s largest and most luxurious resort, has lined up a memorable event to usher in 2025. It is going to be a masquerade affair at Sunset restaurant to celebrate this year’s triumphs and set the mood for 2025.

It will be a soulful night as Black Roots Academy of Soul, a musical band led by veteran artiste- Tshaka Mayanja is booked to perform.

The Black Roots Academy of Soul is known for their fine live performances of classic RnB, hip-hop, and soul.

And there is more to the entertainment; the hotel side of the resort has amazing accommodation packages for the new year’s, with rooms starting at as low as $139 (approximately Shs510,000), for single rooms.

At the Sunset Restaurant, guests shall be able to enjoy a Masquerade Ball and a Chef’s Special New Year’s Eve Dinner, priced at Shs175,000 for adults and Shs80,000, for children under 14 years.

Nyanja Restaurant will feature the Table d’Hôte Dinner, priced at Shs175,000 for adults and Shs80,000 for children under 14 years. The package also includes access to a petting zoo and a Kids’ Movie Night.

The Lakeside venue will also have their trademark fireworks display, DJs that will headline the New Year’s Eve Bash; all this for a paltry Shs10,000 per person.

Overlooking Lake Victoria, Speke Resort Munyonyo offers a memorable experience for guests. Its strategic location and tranquil atmosphere make it an ideal spot to relax and enjoy the resort’s extensive spa and wellness treatments.

The hotel features luxurious accommodations, including Presidential Suites, Presidential Cottages, Executive Rooms, and Superior Rooms. These bright and spacious residences offer stunning views of Lake Victoria and the resort’s tropical gardens.
