After stepping away from the music scene for two years, Ugandan dancehall star Rabadaba has made a comeback with a brand-new single titled “Osagala,” officially released last Friday.

The track blends heartfelt lyrics with irresistible rhythms, signaling a new chapter in his artistic evolution.

“Osagala” dives deep into emotional territory, exploring themes of love, rejection, and vulnerability—hallmarks of Rabadaba’s signature storytelling style.

For fans who’ve been waiting patiently, the new release revives the energy, soul, and sound that once dominated local charts and dance floors.

Born Faisal Sseguya, Rabadaba rose to fame with hits like Oli Mubi, Lunyiriri, Byanema, No Chorus, Bwekili, Mukyamu, and Ability. He first emerged as part of the duo Gatimo and Paragon, later collaborating with Swangz Avenue before signing to UG Records.

Around six years ago, Rabadaba relocated to the UK, stepping away from a career that had spanned over a decade.

In a recent interview on NTV’s The Beat, the Oli Mubi hitmaker opened up about his hiatus, explaining that he felt underappreciated in the Ugandan music scene, which led him to take a step back and give space to the new generation of artists.

“I realized people don’t always value what they have until it’s gone,” he said. “But now, the appreciation is growing—and I’m ready.”

With “Osagala” reigniting his presence, fans and critics alike are watching closely to see what this new chapter brings for one of Uganda’s most influential dancehall voices.
