Uganda’s Triplets Ghetto Kids have given fans a glimpse of their preparations for the FIFA World Cup final halftime show, sharing behind-the-scenes photos from rehearsals with Colombian superstar Shakira and Nigerian Grammy Award winner Burna Boy.
The Ugandan dance troupe posted a series of photos on Instagram showing them dancing, laughing and rehearsing alongside the two international music stars ahead of Sunday’s highly anticipated performance at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey.

Sharing the photos, the Ghetto Kids wrote: “The whole ‘Dai Dai’ stars are here now! And we are more than ready to rock the world this Sunday at the FIFA World Cup Halftime Show! See you.”

In one of the photos, Shakira is seen dancing at the centre of a circle formed by the Ghetto Kids, while Burna Boy joins the group with his own energetic moves.

When Shakira unveiled “Dai Dai”, the tournament’s official song featuring Burna Boy, she revealed that she had invited the Ugandan youngsters to join her on stage for the World Cup final halftime show, giving the Ghetto Kids an opportunity to perform before a global audience alongside some of the world’s biggest music stars.

Spain are aiming for their second World Cup title after winning their first in 2010, while Argentina are chasing a fourth triumph that would move them level with Germany on four titles, behind only five-time champions Brazil.
