PICTORIAL: What you missed at Janzi Awards

Over the weekend, the inaugural Janzi Awards lifestyle event made its debut at the Kololo Airstrip in celebration of Uganda’s cultural, creative and performing arts.

From Lillian Mbabazi’s tribute to the late Radio Mowzey who was accorded the outstanding legendary artist award, the uprising star Pia Pounds scooping two awards; Song of the year and Outstanding Video to Azawi’s Album African Music winning Album of the Year award, the two day ceremony celebrated the movers and shakers of the creative industry.

Despite of a few hiccups that soiled the Awards like the fist exchange  that occurred on the stage, the invited guests showcased pomp and glamour, Sheeba and Azawi’s mind blowing performances, Lillian Mbabazi’s tribute to Moze Radio, Apass’s acoustic performance of Wuuyo , Bad Black’s rib cracking speech were the highlights of the night.
