Clabane Skincare has won the Quality Excellence Award for Most Preferred Skincare Products in East Africa at the sixth East Africa Brand Quality Awards held in Kampala on 16 October 2026.
The ceremony took place at Hotel Africana and recognised brands and business leaders from nine countries in the region. Organisers said winners are selected through public voting and an independent market survey reviewed by a panel of experts.
The award comes as Clabane expands its product range, which the company says is designed to address the skincare needs of African consumers.
Muhammad Bashir, Clabane’s Chief Operating Officer, said the company would continue improving its products to meet customer needs while maintaining quality standards.
“We are always innovating to meet the standards and needs of African skin. Our focus is on continuously improving and developing skincare solutions that respond to our consumers’ needs while maintaining our commitment to quality,” Bashir said.
One of the company’s latest products is the Clabane Glass Skin Orange Peeling Lotion, an evening treatment designed to leave the skin feeling smoother, softer and refreshed.
The lotion draws on the popular “glass skin” trend, which focuses on a smooth, clear and radiant complexion. Its ingredients include vitamin C and citrus-derived components, alongside glycerin, betaine, aloe vera and jojoba oil, which help condition and hydrate the skin.
Clabane said the formulation had been used in a clinical setting on hundreds of patients over the past two years, with good tolerability observed.
The company recommends using the lotion in the evening once or twice a week. Users are advised to follow the product instructions, test it on a small patch of skin before first use and apply sunscreen every morning.
Clabane said the award recognised its progress in the skincare market, while the addition of new products reflects its continued investment in product development.
