In a display of community engagement, Movit Products Limited, one of the leading manufacturers of beauty and personal care products in Uganda, celebrated its 26th anniversary by cleaning and rejuvenating the bustling Kora Norya market in Mbarara. This initiative aimed not only to enhance the market’s aesthetic appeal but also to promote hygiene and create a positive impact on the overall atmosphere.

Movit Products Limited, known for its presence in 10 African countries with seven brands in hair, skin, and baby care products, collaborated with the local community and authorities to execute the grand cleanup. The Kora Norya market, a lively hub of commerce, was transformed into a cleaner and more inviting space.

As the sun rose on a Tuesday morning, a fleet of Movit-branded vehicles and enthusiastic volunteers armed with brooms, mops, and eco-friendly cleaning products gathered at the market. Movit’s staff and local market vendors worked side by side in unity, sweeping away dust and debris, revealing the vibrant colors of the market stalls.

Movit Products Limited not only focused on cleaning but also distributed Skin Guard Sanitiser, Baby Junior soap, and Movit family soap to vendors, extending the celebration to the community. The company invites everyone to join the festivities at Kakyeka Stadium on December 9 in Mbarara.
