Thousands win in Celebrate Ug With A UG during UBL patriotic promo

This year’s Independence Day came with a mega celebration for lovers of Uganda Waragi in the form of Uganda Breweries’ giveaway dubbed “Celebrate Ug with A UG”.

As part of Uganda Breweries’ ongoing Laga Swagga program promotion, consumers were given a special treat where every code entered from under the cap on 9th October earned the participant a cashback to allow them to purchase a bottle of Uganda Waragi. 

According to the UBL mainstream spirits Brand manager, Hillary Baguma, a remarkable 25,000 entries were recorded and rewarded for the day.

“We have had an overwhelming response throughout the Laga Swagga promotion and as we come to its end this month, we have to go out with a bang. The cashback to all 25,000 entries for the day was a token of appreciation for your unwavering and patriotic Ugandan spirit. What better way to do this than to Celebrate Ug with Ug,” Hillary remarked.  

With just a few weeks remaining before the end of this 3-month bonanza, Uganda Breweries is determined to leave just about everything in the hands of its consumers as the giveaways continue with an exciting activation slotted for October 18th at Tales Lounge in Bukoto.

This event will serve as a teaser to the Grand Finale of the NCP on October 30th. Consumers are encouraged to participate actively in these events and seize the opportunity to win incredible prizes.

“As we near the grand finale, please don’t stop participating. Keep making those entries and the 50M jackpot that will be given out any time in the next few weeks could be yours,” Hillary added.

To participate in the Laga Swagga promotion, consumers simply need to purchase Uganda Waragi Premium, Coconut, Lemon and Ginger, Bond 7, Gilbeys, or V&A.

Each bottle cap contains a special code that can be entered via SMS to 6688. Every entry qualifies for instant cash prizes and a chance to participate in the weekly draw for larger winnings.

With the grand prize of Shs50 million still up for grabs, there’s still plenty of time to enter and win with the Laga Swagga promotion.
