“This partnership with Don Julio is a game-changer,” Gashumba said. “Partnering with such a globally recognized, premium brand, is a clear indicator that we’re raising the bar so high for One Man, One Bottle. I am even prouder to work with Don Julio because it’s a drink I personally love and enjoy, everywhere I go. This combination sets the tone for the kind of elevated experience we want to deliver,” she added.

The event promises to deliver an upscale event that celebrates the finer things in life, catering to guests who value luxury, culture, and memorable moments.

According to Simon Lapyem, the Innovations Manager at Uganda Breweries Ltd (UBL), the focus of this partnership is firmly on creating an event that reflects premium quality, class, and one that shall leave lasting memories.

“The One Man One Bottle is a mix of trendsetters, tastemakers, exhibitionists, and party animals who know how to have a good time out. As Don Julio, we pride ourselves in being a part of such experiences that are as exceptional as the tequila we craft. That’s why this partnership feels so natural. It’s a cultural moment on Uganda’s social calendar,” he said.

The press conference also provided Gashumba an opportunity to clarify on a recent viral Snapchat post, that drew mixed reactions, from different sections of the public.

Riding on her well- known bold approach to event promotion, Gashumba took a moment to address the very delicate issue with confidence, but with civility.

“I made that post while having a good time in a top club in South Africa. I saw the kind of experience they offer and I wished to bring the same at The One Man, One Bottle party. My post was about bringing that international allure to my event. To have international dancers and bottle girls on every table, it was plainly that,” she said.

Gashumba also highlighted that the reason behind her frequent travels abroad is to see different experiences that she wants to try out back home; “People keep asking why I travel a lot, I travel to get first hand experiences of different party experiences in different destinations, and I always love trying out some of the experiences back home. Through my travels, I’ve also made very good friendships, with very amazing people, and most of them are girls, and they will be traveling from different countries across Africa, Europe, the US, to come and support me. That’s part of the magic of what we do; creating unique experiences that attract party lovers from everywhere.”

This year’s lineup features an exciting roster of entertainers, including international Afrobeat sensation Afro B, top Ugandan DJs like DJ Jose, DJ Vans, Selector Jay, and more.

Gashumba’s track record in the nightlife scene speaks for itself. Since 2018, she has been the force behind some of Uganda’s most memorable events, like her iconic Ballers Party in Guvnor, and Chop Life Sundays. Her ability to bring together global influences and local culture has made her events a must-attend.
