Speke Resort Munyonyo announces exclusive luxurious Easter Weekend Staycation, with offers on accommodation and enjoyments across different facilities

Speke Resort and Commonwealth Resort Munyonyo, Uganda’s largest and most luxurious resort, has announced exclusive luxurious Easter Weekend Staycation packages, with offers on accommodation, and enjoyments across its different facilities.

The special accommodation rates will run from April 17 to April 21st, and shall see families, couples, friends and individuals, seeking to elevate their Easter weekend experience enjoy Deluxe rooms at $139 (about Shs 514,000), Executive Rooms at $250 (about Shs 925k), while Double Deluxe Rooms will be going for $188 (about Shs 695k).


Additionally, the Garden Villa shall be accessed at $399, a Studio Room at $225, the Superior Room at $250, the Executive Suite at $436, and the Junior Suite at $330.

The Presidential offerings, including the Presidential Cottage, and the Presidential Suite shall also be on offer at $498 (about Shs 1.8m), and $684 (about Shs 2.5m), respectively.

All the above rates are inclusive of taxes, and are on a full-board basis- meaning, each package comes with breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The packages shall also afford occupants access to the Easter Sunday Brunch, as well as the swimming pool, gym, steam and sauna.

Away from the accommodation offers, the five-star resort also announced special Easter Sunday Packages at its other facilities, including- Sunset Restaurant, Nyanja/Lake Terrace, Lake Grill, and the Vikings Bar.

Sunset Restaurant will host the Bubbly Brunch, from midday to 4pm, and it will include a Live Band performance, Easter egg hunt, kids’ activities, visiting the petit zoo, meet the Easter bunny, and a D playing live. All this at Shs 180k for adults, and Shs 90k per child.

The Nyanja/Lake Terrace will have a kids’ movie night, a visit to the petting zoo, a bonfire, and acrobats, between 1pm- 4pm.


At just 5k per head, one shall be able to enjoy a kids’ carnival, acrobats, a live Dj performance, and a visit to petting zoo- at the Lake Grill.

At the Viking Bar, it will be a Cocktail Happy Hour affair, with a range of professionally crafted cocktails by some of of Kampala’s celebrated mixologists.
