Don Julio, the world’s leading luxury tequila, has announced its partnership with Fem Effect Season 3, one of Kampala’s most anticipated nightlife experiences, slated for tonight at a Noni Vie.
The event, now in its third edition, is a high-energy celebration curated by Fem DJ, and features an exciting mix of live performances, curated music experiences, and cultural expression.
Fem Effect has built a solid reputation over the past two seasons, as one of the most electric and inclusive DJ events in Uganda. It brings together Fem DJ’s friends and fans, that include top DJs, live acts, and an audience of tastemakers who know how to celebrate in style.
This year’s edition is headlined by South Africa’s Amapiano heavyweight- Tyler ICU, best known for global anthems like “Mnike” “Inhliziyo” and “Bella Ciao.”
If you’ve vibed to his chart-topping bangers, then you already know the magic this man brings to the decks. Tyler ICU is known for crafting infectious Amapiano hits that have dominated dancefloors across Africa and beyond.
Simon Lapyem, the Innovations Manager at Uganda Breweries Limited, emphasized Don Julio’s alignment with purpose-driven entertainment, such as the Fem Effect celebration.

The Fem Effect season 3 will feature a stellar DJ lineup, including Sir Aludah, Selector Jay, DJ Spinny, Slick Stuart, Matson, Roja, City Girl, Mato, and Meek, making it a gathering of Kampala’s best behind the decks.
Hosts for the evening include some of the city’s most vibrant MCs like- Top Boy, Josh MC, Livin MC, Viana Indi, and Evlyn Mic.
With the Labour Day public holiday slated for tomorrow (May 1st), tonight offers partygoers a perfect chance to step out and be part of the ultimate celebration of music, and Don Julio moments.
Tickets to the event are still on sale, with early bird access at Shs 30k per person, and Shs 50k, at the gate. A VIP table is going for Shs 6m.
