If you didn’t secure your ticket to Africa’s biggest R&B party -Strictly Soul, happening tonight, you’re officially on the sidelines until the next edition.

The Johnnie Walker powered event makes its return to Kampala tonight with yet another sold-out show. So, if you missed your chance, get ready to live vicariously through Instagram stories, because there won’t be any last-minute tickets at the gate.

All roads will this evening lead to Mestil Hotel, for what’s being hailed as the most anticipated R&B night in the region. From the golden age of Brandy and TLC, to the smooth sounds of Rihanna, SZA and T-Pain, Strictly Soul is dialing up the nostalgia and turning on the feels with a carefully curated soundtrack of generational voices and timeless jams.

Expect nothing but singalongs, throwback bangers, and new-school magic as DJ Akio, the international Firestarter, will be tonight’s headliner, and shall share the decks with KasBaby, and Em the DJ, while Kamuhangi and Sheilah Salta, will handle the hosting duties. The plan is to keep the vibes sky-high.

And the best part? Tomorrow, Tuesday, June 3rd, is a public holiday. That means: no alarms, no early mornings, just smooth beats, smooth drinks, and smooth moves all night long.

And what’s a night of smooth jams without a touch of something with Big Flavour? Johnnie Walker will once again bring the bold energy, rich character, and vibrant spirit to keep the night alive. From curated experiences to perfectly crafted cocktails and iconic bottle serves; every detail is designed to spark unforgettable moments.

“At Johnnie Walker, we’re proud to be part of a celebration that brings Kampala’s soulful side to life. This sold-out edition is not just a party, it’s a reminder that when smooth beats meet smooth sips, unforgettable moments are made.  To everyone joining us tonight, get ready for an elevated experience, the kind of night only Johnnie Walker can deliver,” said Christine Kyokunda, Brand Manager, Johnnie Walker Uganda.

Backed by and cohosted by Camelot and The Production House, Strictly Soul isn’t just a party, it’s a movement. So, if you’ve got a ticket, lucky you. Prepare for a night of unforgettable music, smooth vibes, and soul-soaked celebration, as we toast to the holiday in true R&B fashion.

And if you missed out? Don’t worry, the soul never sleeps. But next time, don’t even blink.
