The Mungu Feni Foundation has kicked off the third phase of its garment cutting and tailoring training in Arua, targeting 100 vulnerable individuals, including orphans, teenage mothers, and widows.

During the launch, Feni Benard, the foundation’s CEO and founder, explained the importance of practical skills in driving both personal and community development. He said the programme aims to empower participants with knowledge that promotes self-reliance, entrepreneurship, and sustainable livelihoods.

The foundation runs this initiative annually to equip vulnerable groups with employable skills that can transform their lives and boost Uganda’s development efforts. By focusing on skilling, the programme helps reduce unemployment, support local enterprise, and foster industrial growth.
