Tusker Lite, has added another milestone to its legacy after being awarded the 2026 Monde Selection Gold Quality Award, one of the world’s most respected independent recognitions for product quality, reaffirming the brand’s position as the benchmark for premium lite beer.

The prestigious international award is presented following a rigorous evaluation process that assesses products against global standards for quality, taste, consistency and craftsmanship. For Tusker Lite, the recognition is more than a medal, it is independent confirmation of what consumers across Uganda have long experienced every time they open a bottle.

For years, Tusker Lite has defined what a lite, low carb beer should be, earning loyalty through its crisp taste, premium quality and consistent brewing excellence. The Monde Selection Gold Quality Award now places that reputation on the global stage, proving that the quality enjoyed by Ugandans stands among the best in the world.

“This recognition is a proud moment for Tusker Lite and for Uganda,” said, Sandra Againe, the Tusker Lite Brand Manager. “Our consumers have always trusted Tusker Lite because they know the quality they’re getting in every bottle. Receiving the 2026 Monde Selection Gold Quality Award is independent validation that our brewing excellence meets internationally recognised standards. It’s proof that the beer Ugandans have made the number one Lite is world-class.”

The award also strengthens the brand’s Own The Lite platform, celebrating those who confidently choose Uganda’s best tasting Lite and continue to set the standard rather than follow it.

The recognition reinforces Tusker Lite’s leadership by reminding consumers that true quality cannot simply be imitated. While others may aspire to the category, Tusker Lite continues to define it.

And for anyone yet to discover what sets the brand apart, Tusker Lite has a simple invitation:

“Open One. You’ll Know.”
