Speke Resort Munyonyo is set to host a One Day Pony Camp on Saturday, 11 July 2026, offering children and horse enthusiasts an opportunity to learn horse riding and enjoy a range of outdoor activities at the resort’s equestrian centre.

The full-day experience, which runs from 9:00am to 6:00pm, costs Shs100,000 per person and combines horse riding lessons, animal care, nature activities and a boat cruise on Lake Victoria.

Participants will receive professional horse riding lessons tailored for both beginners and those with some riding experience. Guided by trained instructors, they will learn basic riding techniques in a safe and supportive environment.

Beyond riding, the camp will introduce participants to stable management, where they will learn how to groom, feed and care for ponies and horses. The practical sessions are designed to promote responsibility, confidence and a deeper appreciation for the animals.

The programme also includes a guided nature walk through the resort’s scenic grounds, giving campers a chance to explore the lakeside environment and enjoy the outdoors.

To round off the day, participants will take a 30-minute boat ride on Lake Victoria, with refreshments served on board.

The One Day Pony Camp is open to children and anyone interested in experiencing horse riding in a fun and educational setting. Due to limited spaces, early booking is encouraged.

For reservations and more information, interested participants can call 0752 711857.
