Speke Resort Munyonyo has introduced special accommodation and holiday packages for the 2026 Christmas and New Year season, giving families, couples and groups of friends an opportunity to celebrate at the lakeside resort.
The resort, owned by businessman Sudhir Ruparelia, is running the promotion under the theme ‘The Grand Festive Getaway’, which combines accommodation, meals and entertainment with activities for both adults and children.
The special rates start at $139 per room per night for stays between 18 and 23 December, 26 and 30 December 2026, and 1 and 3 January 2027.
Guests staying on 24, 25 and 31 December 2026 will pay from $176 per room per night.
All rates are inclusive of taxes and are offered on a full-board basis, meaning guests receive breakfast, lunch and dinner throughout their stay. They will also have complimentary access to the resort’s swimming pool, gym, steam bath and sauna.
The festive programme will feature several activities throughout the holiday period, beginning with Christmas celebrations on Friday, 25 December.
Guests will enjoy an Around the World Christmas lunch buffet, accompanied by live music and a DJ. Children will have their own entertainment, including a carnival, movie night and visits to the petting zoo, where they can also interact with the ponies.
On Saturday, 26 December, the resort will host a Boxing Day bubbly brunch, followed by a buffet lunch, live music and more entertainment for children.
The celebrations will continue on Thursday, 31 December, with a New Year’s Eve dinner, live music, a DJ and a party leading up to midnight, when guests will welcome 2027 with fireworks. Children’s activities will include a movie night and visits to the petting zoo.
On Friday, 1 January 2027, guests will start the year with a New Year’s Day bubbly brunch, live entertainment and activities for children.
