After the celebrations at Meditterraneo restaurant, in Kololo, on Sunday evening, the party was extended to the Chop Life Sunday party- at Aura Lounge, where Sheila Gashumba aka Lil Stunner, together with Don Julio, gave tequila lovers a celebration to remember.

Guests stepped on to the red carpet to have their vogue worthy photos taken, against the Don Julio backdrop.

The air buzzed with energy, lit by the soft shimmer of gold accents, neon lights, and the unmistakable glow of Don Julio bottles glinting behind the bar.

Kampala’s beaus and big ballers had decided to have a toast to the finest tequila- Don Julio.

Globally known for its refined tequila heritage, Don Julio was at the heart of the celebration; right from the setup, to the delicious cocktails, and exciting bottle serves.

Guests swirled their glasses, laughed louder, and lived fuller, the Don Julio way.

“We are glad to celebrate World Tequila Day with our consumers at the Choplife Sundays. Tonight is special because we celebrate the art, craft and heritage of tequila with a city that knows how to celebrate life beautifully.” said Judie Nandekya, Senior Brand Manager, Tequila and Rum East Africa.

Music pulsed through the night courtesy of Kampala’s top DJs led by the 2woBunnies who spun a flawless mix of Afrobeats, Amapiano, Dancehall, and deep house anthems, which turned the tempo up and the dance floor into a blur of movement.

Those who attended found themselves immersed in a multisensory experience that felt like the very definition of ‘Chopping life’. Every detail- from the cocktails, to the lighting, to the bottle serves, told a story of celebration, confidence, and class.

As the night wound down and Kampala’s skyline flickered in the distance, one sentiment echoed among guests; this is how we celebrate tequila.

Don Julio and Sheila Gashumba created a moment where tequila was appreciated, and celebrated in style.
