Kampala is set to host a unique sporting and entertainment experience as Pearl of Africa Fight Night takes over the gardens of Fairway Hotel Kampala on Saturday, August 8.
The event promises to go beyond traditional boxing by combining professional championship bouts with premium hospitality, fine dining, live entertainment, and an upscale nightlife experience.
Headlining the fight card is Ugandan boxer Fazil Juma, who returns home for his highly anticipated Homecoming Bout. Juma, a bronze medallist in the light flyweight division at the 2014 Commonwealth Games, is expected to be one of the night’s biggest attractions.
Also scheduled to step into the ring is fast-rising boxer Ssenyange Jr, son of the late Ugandan boxing legend Zebra Ssenyange, alongside several other professional fighters in what organisers say will be an action-packed evening.
Beyond the boxing, guests will enjoy live DJ performances, gourmet cuisine, signature cocktails, luxury VIP hospitality and world-class production designed to deliver an international fight-night atmosphere.
The organisers say their goal is to introduce a new style of live sporting event in Uganda by bringing together elite boxing, entertainment and lifestyle under one roof.
The event is expected to attract corporate executives, business leaders, diplomats, celebrities, sports personalities, influencers and boxing enthusiasts, making it one of Kampala’s standout social events of the year.
With premium ringside seating, VIP tables and entertainment running throughout the evening, Pearl of Africa Fight Night aims to redefine the live sports experience in Uganda.
Tickets are already on sale, with Early Bird tickets priced at Shs50,000, Standard tickets at Shs100,000, and VIP tables for eight available at Shs2.5 million.
