The St. Joseph’s S.S.S. Naggalama Old Students’ Association (SJNOSA) will hold its highly anticipated Gala on Saturday, 15th August 2026, a gathering 4organizers say will bring together generations of alumni to celebrate 58 years since the school first opened its gates in Naggalama.
The Gala will feature a full day of activities including swimming, volleyball, basketball, football, sack race, tug of war, athletics, beer race and the signature NOSA Trivia, a quiz that will test how well members remember the jargon and traditions of their different decades at the school. An entry fee of UGX 50,000 per person covers entrance to the event, a branded house jersey, lunch and a soft drink, and participation in the trivia.
Speaking ahead of the event, the Chairman of the Gala Organizing Committee, Mr. Felix Kakaire (2006 to 2007), urged Old Boys and Old Girls to pay their contributions early and turn up in large numbers.

“This Gala is bigger than a party. It is a homecoming. Fifty eight years ago, Naggalama opened its doors and shaped who we have become, and it is now our turn to give back and reconnect. I am appealing to every Old Boy and Old Girl to pay their contribution today and be part of this celebration. Naggalama, I owe you, and this is one small way we can pay that debt together,” said Mr. Kakaire.
The school’s Headmistress, Ms. Agnes Nsubuga, also added her voice to the call, encouraging old students to flock to the Gala and reconnect with the institution that laid their foundation.
“Our old students carry the name of this school wherever they go, and we are always proud to see how far they have gone in life. I call upon every Old Boy and Old Girl to flock to the Gala on the 15th of August. Come and see how far your school has grown, reconnect with your classmates and teachers, and celebrate this milestone with us,”said Ms. Nsubuga.

Organizers say the Gala will double as a fundraising platform for the association, with proceeds directed towards SJNOSA’s ongoing projects at the school. Members can pay their UGX 50,000 contribution through MTN Mobile Money on 0778741746, registered in the name of Lukabwe Daniel, or through Centenary Bank, Mukono Branch, account number 3204 7412 00, registered in the names of St. Joseph’s S.S.S. Naggalama Old Students’ Association.
The Gala takes place on Saturday, 15th August 2026. Old Boys and Old Girls who wish to attend are encouraged to secure their slot ahead of the day.
