Kampala’s entertainment scene welcomed a new international party concept on Saturday, October 10, as Aprtment Life made its Ugandan debut at Motiv in Bugolobi, bringing together music, fashion, tequila and whisky vibes.

Brought to Uganda by Ganda Vibes, the event introduced Kampala to a lifestyle concept that has travelled across cities including Paris, Cape Town, Nairobi and London. Its debut was marked by a chandelier-adorned venue that reflected the event’s distinctive aesthetics, while guests embraced the dress code in coordinated shades of sand, oat, brown and beige.

The fashion choices gave the night a unified visual identity, with revellers turning up in carefully selected outfits that complemented the setting.

On the decks, DJ Vanns set the pace before Parismatiq took over, drawing the crowd further into music with a set defined by infectious beats and seamless transitions. As the tempo built, revellers responded with raised hands, sing-alongs and dance moves, keeping the dance floor active throughout the performance.

Beyond the music, Don Julio tequila and Johnnie Walker whisky featured in the evening’s cocktail offering, adding another dimension to the social experience. The brands leveraged the occasion to connect with consumers in a setting that provided a perfect fusion of music, fashion and premium vibes.

Judie Nandekya, Senior Brand Manager for Tequila and Rum East Africa, said the partnership offered Don Julio an opportunity to connect with consumers through shared cultural experiences.

“At Don Julio, we are always looking for new ways to connect with consumers through music, culture and experiences that bring people together. Aprtment Life has allowed us to be part of something fresh in Kampala, and seeing the crowd embrace the music, the atmosphere and the experience made the night truly special,” she said.

For Kampala’s partygoers, the Aprtment Life debut offered a first encounter with a concept that has built its presence across several international cities. Its arrival also added another name to the city’s evolving nightlife calendar, where music-led experiences increasingly bring together entertainment, personal style and socialising.
