Nsasiirwe Keinembabazi Karugire, daughter of Edwin Karugire and First Daughter Natasha Museveni, on Saturday celebrated her Kuhingira ceremony in Kashari, Mbarara District, in a colourful cultural event attended by family and close friends.
The ceremony formally marked her introduction and engagement to her fiancé, Jethro Tashashina, son of Lt. Gen. Sam Kavuma and Ruth Kavuma.
It brought together two well-known Ugandan families ahead of the couple’s upcoming wedding.
The event was also graced by President Yoweri Museveni, alongside several senior government and legal figures, including Chief Justice Flavian Zeija, Vice President Jessica Alupo, Deputy Speaker of Parliament Thomas Tayebwa, former Prime Minister Dr. Ruhakana Rugunda, former Chief Justice Bart Katureebe, and Attorney General Kiryowa Kiwanuka, among others.
Adding to the celebrations, Nigerian music star Mr Eazi performed at the high-profile ceremony, entertaining guests during the festivities.
