What started as a Valentine’s Day caller tunes promotion by Africell has since developed into a full campaign that’s helped them sell out even more ring back tunes and sign more customers.

It’s been a month long campaign that has seen enthusiastic subscribers walking away with solid prizes including smartphones and free social bundles, for simply opting into the caller tunes frenzy and downloading a song of their choice.

The campaign started on 8th February as Valentine’s Week promo to help Africell customers share feelings of love with their special ones. However, due to its overwhelming success in a record four days, Africell decided to extend the promo to an entire month, and even increase on the number of prizes.

“It has been a small campaign that’s recorded big successes. In just about four days, we had struck our target in terms of downloads and a week later, we were able to surpass that number,’’ Mr. Milad Khairallah stated.

Altogether, Africell gave away thirty 4G smartphones and loads of free data – in form of weekly social bundles to over ten lucky customers. Winners were announced daily on the Africell social Media pages ahead of the overall final prizing session that will happen on Tuesday 14th March 2016.
