Raymond Mujuni and Rita Kanya
It’s just months ago when social media went a buzz when NTV Uganda journalist Raymond Mujuni proposed to fellow workmate Rita Kanya in a shocking move that left many speechless.
For over years now, this is the only couple to have made it official out of their work relationship at the media station (TV or Radio).
Mujuni and Kanya add to a growing list of media personalities who have got married this year 2021.
Tv personality Canary Mugume

Canary Mugume on Saturday wedded his long term “soulmate” Sasha Ferguson today at Rubaga Miracle Centre. The marital ceremony was presided over by Pastor Robert Kayanja.
The couple is set to host their visitors at Speke Resort Munyonyo. Sasha introduced her fiancée , Canary to her parents in May this year, in a beautifully modest ceremony. The introduction came a day after Sasha Ferguson graduated from Makerere University during the 71st graduation ceremony, this year.
Radio personality Roger Mugisha’s wedding

Ugandan socialite, media personality, actress and events host Anita Kyarimpa aka Anita Fabiola has been dating her boyfriend Mark Ronald Mubiru for close to three years.
However, this year Anitah Fabiola was officially taken for those who thought they could sway her from her current boyfriend.
In August 2021 Mark Ronald went on one knee and proposed to Anita which she wildly replied with a yes. The couple is currently vacationing in the Maldives to celebrate Mark’s birthday.
Anita Fabiola took to her social media pages to confirm the news. She affirmed her love for Mark saying she loves him because he takes her to places she’s never been before.
The couple has dated for about two years after Fabiola’s failed relationships with Mo Red and faded socialite Meddie Ssentongo.

In January 2021, there was mystery behind whether TV personality Judithiana Namazzi held a wedding or not after photos of her and her fiancé, Joel Ndugwa, dressed in wedding-like outfits surfaced the internet, they left fans and followers second guessing whether the couple really did host a wedding or not.
Judithiana however, came out put a stop to all the questions when she shared a video on her Instagram page, wearing a designer wedding dress with a heart-melting caption.
“I got my dream wedding through a pandemic and the UG election saga. If that’s not God, then who? Our God is a God of promises. Whatever he promised, he delivered. God’s love for me was very obvious throughout my wedding journey. I will share the dope professional pictures very soon. The couple is said to have had their ceremony officiated at Serena Hotel Kigo and also hosted their reception at the same venue in January this year
