Over the weekend, Gen. Henry Tumukunde’s son Amanya Tumukunde exchanged vows with President Yoweri Museveni’s daughter Dr. Angela Nagasha Kakishozi at St. Pauls Cathedral Namirembe and later hosted their guests at Speke Resort Munyonyo.

While addressing guests at the function, Madam Enid Kukunda, the bride’s mother thanked Angela’s uncle Gen. Salim Saleh.

“I want to thank Gen. Salim Saleh. Now that one is my everything,” she said.

Kukunda also revealed that she has realised that her luck makes some people jealous.

“When I talk about my luck I came to know that maybe people get jealous, I am not God. I want to thank you Afande for everything.  If I am to talk about him you will even be more jealous. Thank you Afande for everything. I don’t think there’s anything anyone can equate with if you get anybody who can make you financially independent. Nothing liberates a person when you’re financially independent,” Kukunda said.

Gen Saleh is the one that walked Angela down the aisle. While addressing the guests, Saleh disclosed how he had already reported to the person that he was representing.

“Personally I have already reported to the person that I am representing today that mission accomplished,” Said Gen. Saleh.
