The Uganda Police has got new vans with the rear designed to give arrested suspects comfort. Yes, the days of disturbing scenes after arrest could soon be over after the IGP Kale Kayihura inspected two of the vehicles yesterday at Naguru, Police headquarters.

“The Inspector General of Police Gen. Kale Kayihura yesterday inspected two samples of police arrest vans at police headquarters Naguru, designed with a fixed cage in the rear of the vehicle with cushioned seats that are intended to provide suspects with the necessary comfort”, their Facebook post read.
