Barbie Itungo has always that firm rock in Bobi Wine’s life. When her husband, and Kyadondo East MP independent candidate Bobi Wine aka Robert Kyagulanyi was arrested this morning, she could not stand by and lie low like an envelope.
She sprang forward and demanded as Police blocked Bobi Wine from proceeding with his scheduled program at Kasangati grounds. The Police briefly detained him at Kasangati Police before he was taken to Kira Police.
While in the company of Barbie, he was released and they set off to hold the rally at a new venue; Bulamu.
Barbie has been by Bobi’s side throughout the campaings dressed in gomesi as they rallied for votes. As Kyadondo East goes to the polls on Thursday, one thing is for sure; behind every successful is a woman of great virtue.
